The Day of Masks!!!

Dear Friends, Supporters and Visitors of our website,

As we promised you, from time to time we will post information about summer camp carried out by Hope and Future foundation. The children have been accomodated very well. It is a new day and the camp participants are ready to start their fun, to befriend with other children, to talk, exchange addresses and have leasure time!

In the morning the children attended the morning chapel where they learned the Bible story about Zacchaeus, the tax collector. ‘It is a very interesting Bible story and the children enjoyed learning about Zacchaeus very much. They learned that God does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. They learned that God loves us regardless our background and status in the society; he loves as we are. It is very important that they understand this Bible truth and apply it in their lives. We pray God seeds this truth in their small hearts and they let Him lead their lives.’– shared Mrs. Rodica, one of Christian Input volunteers.

8th of June was planned to be the Day of Masks. Both educators and children had to think during the day about a mask and prepare it for evening chapel when there would take place a the Mask contests. Everybody in the camp was very creative and they designed very interesting and colorful Masks and characters. The best ones were awarded.

So, the awards are as follows:
1st place was won by Corina Sigorean, a 10 years old girl, who was disguised in Queen Princess! Good job, Corina!

2nd place was won by Loredana Criucov, a 8 years old girl, who was disguised in Busy Bee! Good job, Loredana!

3rd place was for David Nichita, a 8 year old boy, who was disguised in Minion (the name of a cartoon character, I do not know if the spelling is correct one, but….). Good job, David!

The children also worshiped and performed Bible sketches and had fun! It was a nice day with lots of laugh, fun and good mood!! Thank you for your attention!

Respectfully,
H&F team
