A little help is a great future!

2nd and 3rd days at summer camp with Hope and Future!

Dear Friends, Supporters and Visitors of our web-site,

Thank you for following our running projects that are meant to bring joy, peace and hope for a better future. Summer Camp is one of the Hope and Future (H&F) projects which is most loved and wanted one among children. H&F summer camp program is designed to meet the emotional, social, psychological and recreational needs of poor children.

The Christian Input team of H&F are talented and creative people dedicated to working and ministering the children. During the Bible lessons of this year, the children would have the chance to learn some of the parables told by Lord Jesus when teaching his disciples and people who followed Him. Some of the parables the children learnt during second and third days of camp were:
– The Parable of the Wedding Feast (Matthew 22:1-14) and key Bible verse of this lesson was from Revelation 3:20 ‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and he with Me.’
– The Parable of Talents (Matthew 25:14-30) and the key Bible verse of this lesson was from 1 Peter 4:10 ‘As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.’

The children enjoyed listening to the Bible stories which were finely related to social stories from a child’s life. Christian Input team performed the stories and explained the message using simple to understand language for children. The children liked learning the Bible verses by heart. They even competed between them who knew them better.

‘I liked very much the Bible lesson of today. I learnt a wonderful Parable told by Lord Jesus. He knocks at our hearts and is patient waiting for an answer from us. We have to listen to His voice. I recognize that I do not always do good things, sometimes I hurt my peers or people around me. Today I have understood that I have to choose to listen to the soft voice who whispers me doing good things. I am so grateful to Bible teachers who led the lesson in a wonderful way!’ – shared Marina, a camp attendee.

‘I enjoyed learning the Bible verse. I liked singing and listening to Bible story. Thank you for lesson!’ – expressed Daniela, a camp attendee.

‘I have never attended a Sunday School before. I find the Bible stories so interesting and educative. Thank you for bringing this parable to us. I enjoyed the message. I am sure it will help me in future. That’s why I am trying to learn by heart the Bible verse as I want to keep it in my mind. Thank you for all your nice teachings.’ – said Nicolae, a camp attendee.

The name of the second day of summer camp was The Day of Acquaintance when the children should make friends and find out as much information as possible about them. It was a special day for everyone in the camp as from this day lots of connections started to develop and the basement of many friendships was set up.

The name of the third day of summer camp was The Day of International Cultures when the groups of children should find a country to be presented to the rest of camp attendees. They had lots of fun to find out, prepare and present the pieces of information on the certain country of the world. They even disguised wearing national costumes or at least something similar in order to be closer to the people and culture of the country they wanted to present.

At H&F camp, the children develop more social skills that help them make new friends; children grow more independent; children also become more adventurous and willing to try new things. It is great to see them pleased and full of impressions in the end of the day.

If you want to contribute to changing the life of a needy child and offer him a hope for a better life, contact us on office@hopeandfuture.org. and we will do our best to give you the necessary information.
